Falling Sphere Viscometer

The Falling Sphere Viscometer provides an accurate method for determining the dynamic viscosity of oils and fuels. This test involves filling a viscometer tube with the oil sample, introducing a calibrated stainless steel ball, and measuring the time it takes for the ball to travel a set distance under gravity. The measured time, multiplied by a calibration factor, provides the viscosity reading in centipoise (cP).
