Primus FX105 Marine Softmount Washer-Extractor

The Primus FX105 Marine Softmount Washer-Extractor combines compact dimensions with a 10.5 kg nominal washing capacity and high-speed 500 G extraction. Its softmount construction makes it a practical professional laundry solution for vessels and offshore installations where space, efficiency and reliable daily operation are important.

The machine features a stainless steel top, drum and tub together with durable anthracite front and side panels. In addition, easy front access to vital components helps simplify servicing and routine maintenance.

10.5 kg Professional Washing Capacity

The FX105 provides a nominal capacity of 10.5 kg at a 1:10 loading ratio and up to 12 kg at a 1:9 loading ratio.

Its stainless steel inner drum has a volume of 105 litres and a diameter of 620 mm. The large door opening also makes loading and unloading easier during frequent laundry cycles.

This combination gives the FX105 useful professional capacity without requiring the installation space of a larger commercial washer-extractor.

500 G High-Speed Extraction

The FX105 reaches an extraction speed of 1200 rpm and a G-factor of 500.

This high extraction force removes more residual moisture from textiles before they enter the drying stage. As a result, drying times can be reduced and the complete laundry process can operate more efficiently.

For onboard laundries, this can be particularly valuable when equipment must handle regular daily loads while keeping energy use and turnaround times under control.

Cascade Drum Technology

The patented Primus Cascade Drum supports effective washing and water extraction through its specially designed drum surface.

Its cascading shape creates additional mechanical action during the wash cycle. At the same time, the increased number of perforations across the drum surface helps water leave the textiles efficiently during extraction.

Despite the high 500 G extraction force, the drum design also helps prevent linen from sticking excessively to the drum. This makes unloading easier and supports a smoother laundry workflow.

Flexible Touchscreen Control

The FX105 is available with XControl FLEX PLUS, a fully programmable control system with a 7-inch touchscreen.

The interface provides built-in operating instructions and supports control content in 34 languages. Operators can customize wash cycles according to different laundry requirements.

Alternative XControl and XTronic configurations are also available. Therefore, the machine can be specified according to the required level of programming and operational control.

Smart Laundry Management

The FX range supports connected laundry management for easier monitoring of professional laundry operations.

Primus technology can also optimize resource use according to the actual wash load. This helps reduce unnecessary consumption of water and detergent while maintaining effective washing conditions.
