The Primus T24 Marine Tumble Dryer is a professional high-capacity drying solution suitable for demanding onboard laundry installations. With a capacity of up to 25 kg and a 530-litre drum, the T24 combines reliable drying performance with a robust design for continuous professional use.

Its large Ø930 mm galvanized drum provides ample space for larger laundry loads, while the extra-large door opening makes loading and unloading faster and more convenient. In addition, efficient airflow helps deliver consistent drying performance across the load.

For marine applications, the T24 provides a practical solution for commercial vessels, offshore installations, ferries and other ships requiring dependable professional laundry equipment.

Efficient Radial Airflow

The Primus T24 delivers an airflow of 950 m³/h and offers a reversing drum with radial airflow as an option. This system promotes effective heat transfer through the laundry and supports shorter drying times and efficient energy use.

Furthermore, Primus offers an ECO version with a reduced-kW heating element, allowing the dryer configuration to better match specific installation and energy requirements.

Flexible Heating Configurations

The T24 is available with gas, steam or electric heating, providing flexibility when specifying equipment for different vessel installations.

The electric version supports 3 × 380–415 V 50/60 Hz as well as 3 × 480 V 60 Hz configurations. Meanwhile, gas and steam alternatives provide additional options where these utilities are available onboard. Therefore, Marine Technic can assist with selecting a suitable configuration according to the vessel’s technical requirements.

Optional Sensodry® Moisture Control

For applications requiring greater control over residual moisture, the Primus T24 can be equipped with Sensodry®.

This residual moisture control system detects humidity as a percentage, allowing the drying process to better match the condition of the load. As a result, it can help protect delicate linen against unnecessary over-drying while supporting consistent drying results.

Sensodry® is available with both Easy and Full Control configurations and works particularly well alongside Primus SoftWash® applications.

Easy and Full Control Options

Primus offers the T24 with two control alternatives.

The Easy-to-Use Microprocessor (ECT) provides straightforward operation with a simple selection of three programs. Alternatively, the Full Control Programmer (FCT) provides a fully programmable timer together with the possibility of residual moisture control.

An optional Wi-Fi kit also enables connectivity with Primus cloud-based laundry management solutions, making it easier to monitor laundry operations.
