18 kg Professional Washing Capacity

The FX180 provides a nominal washing capacity of 18 kg at a 1:10 loading ratio. At a 1:9 loading ratio, capacity increases to 20 kg.

Its stainless steel inner drum has a volume of 180 litres and a diameter of 750 mm. A large door opening makes loading and unloading easier during daily operation.

Therefore, the FX180 offers substantial professional washing capacity without requiring the footprint of larger FX models.

460 G High-Speed Extraction

The FX180 reaches an extraction speed of 1047 rpm and a G-factor of 460.

High-speed extraction removes more residual moisture before the drying stage. As a result, textiles require less drying afterwards. This can shorten drying cycles and improve overall laundry efficiency.

Cascade Drum Technology

The patented Primus Cascade Drum uses a specially shaped surface to improve mechanical action during washing.

Additional perforations support efficient water extraction. Meanwhile, the cascading surface promotes effective textile movement throughout the wash cycle.

The design also helps prevent linen from sticking to the drum after extraction. Consequently, operators can unload the machine more easily.

Flexible Professional Laundry Control

The FX180 offers several control configurations to suit different operational requirements.

XControl FLEX PLUS provides fully programmable wash cycles through a 7-inch touchscreen. The intuitive interface also includes operating instructions directly within the control.

Alternative XControl and XTronic configurations provide further flexibility. Operators can therefore select a control system that matches their specific laundry requirements.

Efficient Load and Resource Management

An optional weighing system measures the actual laundry load. It can then help match water and detergent consumption to the amount of laundry being processed.

This approach helps reduce unnecessary consumption with partial loads. In addition, cloud-based laundry management can provide remote access to machine information.

Flexible Installation Options

The FX180 supports 12–18 kW electric heating. Primus also offers a steam-heated configuration for installations with a suitable steam supply.

Several additional options allow the machine to suit different laundry requirements. These include a stainless steel cabinet, liquid soap connections and pumps, a water recovery kit and a third water inlet. A weighing system and double door glass are also available.
