Description

The MINITRAC 31 is a reliable radiation-based density sensor that provides accurate, non-intrusive measurement of process materials flowing through pipelines or stored in tanks. It operates based on gamma radiation, allowing it to measure through vessel walls and insulation without direct contact with the medium. This ensures consistent measurement under extreme conditions such as high temperature, high pressure, or corrosive contents.

In the marine and offshore sectors, the MINITRAC 31 is ideal for monitoring slurry density, sediment in ballast water, or process flow in chemical dosing systems. Its external mounting makes it especially useful where internal sensor installation is impractical or unsafe. It requires no maintenance and offers a long operational life, making it a low-cost solution over time.

The compact design and rugged housing of the MINITRAC 31 allow for easy installation on curved, horizontal, or vertical pipe sections. It works independently of the medium’s conductivity, viscosity, or opacity, and maintains stable performance regardless of foam, turbulence, or coating inside the vessel.

Marine Technic supplies the MINITRAC 31 to marine engineers, shipyards, and industrial contractors looking for advanced, low-maintenance density measurement technology. With extensive experience in VEGA instrumentation, Marine Technic ensures the right configuration, installation support, and reliable solutions for demanding environments.
