Description

The VEGAFLEX 86 is engineered for precision level measurement in the harshest process environments. It uses guided wave radar technology based on Time Domain Reflectometry (TDR), sending microwave pulses down a probe to detect level or interface changes. This technology delivers exact, maintenance-free measurement regardless of foam, buildup, steam, or condensation.

In the marine and offshore industries, the VEGAFLEX 86 is ideal for use in steam boilers, condensate tanks, thermal oil systems, and pressurized vessels. It is particularly suited for high-temperature or high-pressure systems, where traditional sensors struggle or fail. The sensor’s rugged probe design ensures measurement stability and process reliability in mission-critical operations.

Available with rod, coaxial, or cable probes, the VEGAFLEX 86 can be configured to meet various installation requirements — including vertical tanks, side-entry standpipes, and narrow chambers. The sensor is vibration-resistant and compatible with shipboard power and control systems, ensuring seamless operation even in the toughest marine environments.

Marine Technic delivers the VEGAFLEX 86 to customers requiring extreme-condition instrumentation that performs without compromise. As a trusted supplier of VEGA instrumentation, Marine Technic provides expert configuration support, marine-verified products, and reliable service tailored to the maritime sector.
