Description

The VEGABAR 82 is a universal process pressure transmitter developed to measure gases, vapors, and liquids under varying conditions. Its core strength lies in the ceramic CERTEC® measuring cell, which offers excellent chemical resistance, high overload capability, and long-term reliability — even in harsh conditions such as on ships, in offshore installations, or within processing plants.

In maritime applications, the VEGABAR 82 is widely used for monitoring pressure in ballast water tanks, cargo tanks, service tanks, manifolds, and hydraulic systems. Its compact and rugged design allows it to perform accurately despite vibration, temperature fluctuations, and exposure to seawater or corrosive chemicals.

The transmitter provides consistent, drift-free measurement even during pressure shocks or rapid temperature changes. Its front-flush sensor design supports optimal cleaning and reduces the risk of buildup in pipelines or tanks.
