Primus FX65 Marine Softmount Washer-Extractor

The Primus FX65 Marine Softmount Washer-Extractor is a compact professional washing solution with a 6.5 kg nominal capacity and high-speed 500 G extraction. Designed for installations where space, efficiency and reliable daily operation are important, the FX65 is particularly suitable for compact onboard laundry applications.

The machine combines a stainless steel top, drum and tub with durable anthracite front and side panels. In addition, its compact footprint makes it easier to integrate into laundry areas where available installation space is limited.

Compact 6.5 kg Washing Capacity

The FX65 provides a nominal washing capacity of 6.5 kg at a 1:10 loading ratio and up to 7 kg at a 1:9 loading ratio.

Its stainless steel inner drum provides 65 litres of volume with a diameter of 530 mm. Meanwhile, the large door opening makes loading and unloading straightforward during regular laundry operations.

With dimensions of only 1135 × 710 × 740 mm, the FX65 delivers professional washing capability within the smallest footprint of the Primus FX range covered by this series.

500 G High-Speed Extraction

The FX65 reaches an extraction speed of 1298 rpm and a G-factor of 500.

This high extraction force removes more residual moisture from textiles before they enter the dryer. As a result, drying cycles can become more efficient while overall laundry turnaround can improve.

For onboard laundries, where both energy consumption and equipment capacity matter, efficient extraction can contribute to a more streamlined washing and drying process.

Cascade Drum Technology

The patented Primus Cascade Drum combines effective washing action with efficient water extraction.

Its specially designed cascading surface provides additional mechanical action during the wash cycle. Furthermore, the increased perforated area supports efficient water removal during high-speed extraction.

Despite the powerful 500 G extraction, the drum design helps prevent linen from sticking excessively to its surface. Therefore, operators can unload laundry more easily after the cycle.

Flexible Touchscreen Laundry Control

The FX65 is available with XControl FLEX PLUS, a fully programmable control system featuring a 7-inch touchscreen.

The interface provides built-in operating instructions and customizable cycles, while control content is available in 34 languages. This makes everyday operation easier for crews and operators working in multilingual environments.

Primus also offers XControl, with 20 preset programs and memory for up to 99, as well as XTronic, with six programs, two cycle modifiers and imbalance detection.

Efficient and Connected Operation

The FX range supports cloud-based laundry management for convenient monitoring of machine operation.

In addition, UltraBalance technology uses load information to adapt water and detergent requirements to the actual amount of laundry. This helps reduce unnecessary consumption when washing smaller loads.
