The Primus RX135 Marine Hardmount Washer-Extractor is a compact professional washing machine with a 13.5 kg nominal capacity, rigid-mounted construction and a 135-litre stainless steel drum. The RX135 provides a nominal capacity of 13.5 kg at a 1:10 loading ratio and handles up to 15 kg at a 1:9 loading ratio.

Its stainless steel inner drum offers a volume of 135 litres and a diameter of 620 mm. In addition, the large 410 mm door opening provides convenient access when loading and unloading laundry.

Hardmount Construction for Marine Applications

The RX135 uses a rigid-mounted design developed for demanding professional laundry operation. Its stainless steel drum and tub provide a durable foundation for frequent use.

Primus has also designed the machine so technicians can access vital components from the front. This service-friendly arrangement is particularly useful in compact laundry rooms where access around the machine may be limited.

The complete unit measures just 1225 × 750 × 900 mm (H × W × D), allowing substantial professional washing capacity within a relatively compact footprint.

Up to 220 G Extraction

During washing, the drum operates at 46 rpm. Standard extraction reaches 760 rpm and 200 G.

When equipped with Touch Control, the RX135 can reach 800 rpm and 220 G. The higher extraction force reduces the amount of residual moisture left in the laundry. As a result, less water needs to be removed during the subsequent drying process.

Cascade Drum Technology

The RX135 incorporates Primus Cascade Drum technology, which uses the shape of the drum surface to provide additional mechanical action during washing.

Its cascading design supports effective interaction between the textiles, water and detergent. At the same time, the drum technology contributes to efficient extraction and helps simplify unloading after the wash cycle.

Efficient Water Handling

The RX135 features high-capacity water inlets designed to support efficient wash cycles. The machine uses 3/4″ BSP water connections and operates within a specified water pressure range of 100–800 kPa, with 300–500 kPa recommended.

A large Ø76 mm drain valve provides a flow capacity of up to 210 litres per minute, helping remove water quickly between stages of the wash process.

Flexible Touchscreen Control

The RX135 is available with XControl FLEX+, a fully programmable control platform featuring a 7-inch touchscreen and customizable wash cycles.

The interface includes operating instructions directly within the control system. Furthermore, complete control content is available in 36 languages, helping simplify operation for multinational crews.

Alternative control configurations include XControl with 20 preset programs and memory for up to 99 programs, as well as XTronic with six programs, two cycle modifiers and imbalance detection.

Flexible Heating Options

The RX135 supports 3–7 kW electric heating and can also be configured for steam heating at 1–8 bar.

This flexibility allows the machine configuration to be matched to the available utilities and requirements of the installation. The maximum specified hot-water temperature is 90°C.

Practical Detergent Handling

A patented soap hopper supports convenient detergent handling and improved operator ergonomics during everyday use.

For installations requiring automated chemical supply, Primus also offers liquid soap connections and pumps. Additional options include stainless steel front and side panels, steam heating, a third water inlet and an ECO version with a lower kW rating on request.
