Primus TX9 Compact Marine Tumble Dryer

The Primus TX9 Marine Tumble Dryer provides reliable professional drying in a compact format. Its 9 kg nominal capacity, 195-litre stainless steel drum and flexible electrical configurations make it well suited to onboard laundry installations.

The compact design helps save valuable installation space. Meanwhile, the large Ø500 mm door opening makes everyday loading and unloading easier.

For marine applications, Primus offers the TX9 with a 3 × 440 V 60 Hz electrical configuration. This makes it easier to match the dryer with common onboard electrical requirements.

Efficient Drying Performance

The TX9 uses axial airflow with a rated airflow of 300 m³/h. This system promotes efficient heat transfer and supports short, consistent drying cycles.

The stainless steel drum measures Ø670 mm in diameter and 555 mm in depth. Primus also offers a reversing drum as an option. This feature improves load movement and helps achieve more uniform drying.

Flexible Electric Heating

The Primus TX9 marine tumble dryer uses electric heating with three available power levels: 6, 9 or 12 kW.

As a result, operators can select a configuration that matches the vessel’s available electrical capacity. Primus also offers ECO versions with reduced-kW heating elements.

Several electrical configurations are available. Importantly for marine installations, these include a 3 × 440 V 60 Hz option.

Optional Sensodry® Moisture Control

Primus also offers Sensodry® residual moisture control as an option for the TX9.

Sensodry® monitors the humidity remaining in the load during operation. Therefore, the system can provide more precise drying for delicate textiles. It also helps avoid unnecessary over-drying and supports better fabric care.

Simple and Convenient Operation

The TX9 features the Easy-to-Use Microprocessor (ECT). Its intuitive controls provide simple access to three drying programs.

In addition, the Ø500 mm door opens to an angle of 210°. Operators can also reverse the standard right-hand door configuration to suit different laundry layouts.

The machine combines a stainless steel drum with an anthracite grey exterior and Inox top panel. These materials provide a durable construction for professional laundry environments.

Compact Solution for Onboard Laundries

At only 1150 × 710 × 945 mm, the TX9 combines professional drying performance with a relatively small footprint. Therefore, it offers a practical solution for vessels with limited laundry space.
