The Primus FX135 Marine Softmount Washer-Extractor combines a 13.5 kg nominal washing capacity with robust construction and high-speed extraction. Its compact softmount design makes it a practical choice for professional onboard laundries.

The machine features a stainless steel top, drum and tub. Anthracite front and side panels complete the durable construction. In addition, front access to vital components helps simplify routine service and maintenance.

13.5 kg Professional Washing Capacity

The FX135 provides a nominal washing capacity of 13.5 kg at a 1:10 loading ratio. At a 1:9 loading ratio, the capacity increases to 15 kg.

Its stainless steel inner drum provides a volume of 135 litres and a diameter of 620 mm. A large door opening also supports easy loading and unloading.

As a result, the FX135 offers useful professional capacity while maintaining a compact footprint for space-conscious laundry installations.

460 G High-Speed Extraction

The FX135 reaches an extraction speed of 1151 rpm with a G-factor of 460.

High-speed extraction removes a substantial amount of residual moisture after washing. Therefore, textiles can require less time in the tumble dryer. This can improve overall laundry efficiency and reduce the energy required during the drying stage.

Cascade Drum Technology

The patented Primus Cascade Drum uses a specially shaped surface to improve mechanical action during the wash cycle.

More perforations across the drum surface support efficient water extraction. Meanwhile, the cascading design promotes effective textile movement and washing performance.

The drum design also makes unloading easier after extraction. This supports a smoother workflow during frequent daily operation.

The FX135 offers several control configurations for different operational requirements.

XControl FLEX PLUS provides fully programmable and customizable wash cycles. Operators manage the machine through an intuitive 7-inch touchscreen. Built-in operating instructions also make everyday use straightforward.

The control content is available in 34 languages. Alternatively, Primus offers XControl and XTronic configurations for different laundry requirements.

Efficient Laundry Management

Primus laundry technology can support efficient use of water, detergent and energy. Connected laundry management also allows operators to access machine information remotely where the appropriate system is configured.

This can provide better oversight of laundry operations. In turn, operators can make faster decisions and manage equipment more efficiently.

The FX135 supports 3–13.8 kW electric heating. A steam-heated version is also available for installations with a suitable steam supply.
