In the year 1958 Walter Hengst founded the company Ing. Walter Hengst KG in Münster and whether it´s fate or just chance that the name Hengst (in German it means stallion) strikes a bridge between horsepower, engines, oil and fuel filters, it has been the philosophized in the company from the start.
Hengst Filtration thoughts and actions as family businesses are characterized by the responsibility for the careful handling of resources, as well as the challenge of making engines, machines and systems cleaner and more efficient with future oriented filtering solutions, of course in order to continuosly improve our environment.
