Ultrasonic cleaning works on the principle of cavitation. High frequency sound waves are generated and introduced in the cleaning liquid as mechanical energy through a series of transducers fitted on the outside bottom of the Mini Tank and radiating upwards.
The process of ultrasound creates numerous tiny vacuum bubbles on the cleaning solution, which consequently implode. The energy released when tiny bubbles implode on the surface of the parts exposed to the cleaning solution causes an extremely effective cleaning force to the surface of the parts.
As the temperature of the cleaning solutions is directly related to the cavitational effect of the ultrasonic energy the Ultrasonic cleaners are delivered with built-in electrical heating elements complete with thermostatic controls. In this way an optimum combination of cleaning product (solution), temperature and ultrasonic power can be reached.
